Continental Shipping Agencies SARL was founded in 1991 in Beirut/Lebanon By
MM. Michel Francis and Samir Francis with the aim to create a family affair on top of their common business being always shipping and forwarding transports fields.
First in 1991, the company was presented to local market and had little shipping activities, such as receiving some out-sider vessels, chartering vessels on request and trying to develop and promote sea transport and its derivative services.
As from 1995, Continental Shipping Agencies SARL developed an important traffic of conventional cargo shipped mainly from Adriatic ports and this was due to the several European ship agents/brokers who were nominating and entrusting their vessels and cargoes to the company, after that efficiency and reliability have made of
"Continental Shipping Agencies SARL" one of the leading and most experienced company in handling conventional cargo. 92000 MTS of general cargo were discharged and handled by the company within 6 months between the periods of June 1995 until end of December 1995.
This matter of fact allowed "Continental shipping Agencies
SARL" to seek for new horizons, such as "Line Representations" developing new contacts till it reached its targets.
Growing-up rapidly, the company have established a marketing office operated by skillful staff in addition to its head-office wherein management, operations and special assistance are being treated. |
